About Clear Fork Ski Area
Clear Fork is located on a semicircle of scenic hills in North Central Ohio, close to the Mohican State Forest. Clear Fork is known for its skiing terrain and wide open slopes that are serviced by six lifts. The slopes and trails were designed for variety and uncrowded conditions. Clear Fork has something for everyone! Their Beginners’ area is recommended for beginning and intermediate skiers. The Beginners’ area is designed for easy learning and is separate from the main slopes. It is serviced by an easy to use J-Bar and a Handle Bar lift. When you’re ready for more challenging terrain, you can join the intermediate and advanced skiers on the other slopes. The Quad chair lift services both Main Street and Logan’s Run, two of the most difficult runs. For more skiing variety, ride the Triple chair lift which not only services Main Street and Outer Rim but the very popular Bowl Area. The scenic Bowl Area is nestled in the hills and is a great intermediate run. From the Bowl you can easily access the Upper Area Double chair lift and enjoy the natural setting as you ride to the top where you may choose to ski either the Back Chute, rated most difficult or Whitetail that runs under the double chair and is rated more difficult. When Mother Nature cooperates with natural snow, try skiing Route 66. Whatever your skiing ability may be, Clear Fork can offer you not only variety and challenge but also a spacious, natural, scenic atmosphere.
